.. My Pitch ..

The genre of the film is going to be a hybrid of a gangster-thriller film. the plot is going to be about a two gangs who suddenly have to cross paths in a violent way due to one of the gang leaders sister being kidnapped and in the pursue of trying to get her back, there are many battles and events that begin to take place until in the end she is found and rescued.

The narrative structure, the trailer will first show the main charcters of the film in their natural, environment doing their day to day life routine with, in small writing, thier name and position in the gang which will then be followed by the event in which makes the two gangs begin to start causing havoc on eachother which in this case will the be kidnapping of one of the gang leaders sister and then will show short clips and shots of the reactions between the gangs due to the kidnapping such as fight scenes, murders, threat scenes and biuld up scenes where each gang keeps finding out information about the other. Then it will all conclude in a three-way cross path of the both major gang leaders, one pointing the gun at the other and the other pointing the gun at his sister and the sister being tied up to the chair. The trailer ends on a cliff hanger which will lure the target audience to watch the film.

The settings of this movie, so far, will be on the streets at night, a park, alley way, highstreet of a town, office room and an empty dark room.

The production company im going to be pitching to is pathe. This is because they produced 'kidulthood' and 'adulthood' and my film was helped created, based on the events thattake place in the film and the plot of those films. The story line to pathe produced films and the genres they usualy produce helped me decide what i would like to include in my film and based on the techniques they used on thier cinematography, lighting and sound, it has helped given me an idea on how i would like to structure my film. This is why i will pitch my idea to pathe because i think they would see the potential and profit that could be made with my movie and since it is in thier area of film making ( the genre, etc.) then im sure they would most likely accept my pitch compared to any other production company.

my film would to more than justthe mainstream audience of 16-25 year olds and appeal to an older age range atleast uo to 40. This is because theres going to be violence in my film so the male society would defiantely be attracted to watch my film regardless of the age range and also the age range i hopefuly would be using in my film would attract a wider range of audience rather than just the mainstream.

This film is going to contain some content where it can only be shown in cinemas for films that are classified as 15 or 18 by the violence shown, the use of weapons such as guns, the injuries and wounds and the handling of woman.
